1st Gen | R52 Convertible MF Feature Official News R50 Two-Door Hardtop (Cooper) R53 Two-Door Hardtop (Cooper S)
We have two MINIUSA documents. One is the package specifications and pricing and the other is individual option pricing for 2005. There's really nothing here that's new to MotoringFile readers (especially those that read this last Friday) but these PDFs should help for all those waiting for the MINIUSA configuator.

Thanks Gabe. It always reminds me what my MINI sales advisor use to say to me whenver I would make an inquiry—always check Gabe Bridger's website since he always get :”advance” info than we do. :)

Option 2TA, the LSD, has price yet to be announced.

Thanks for the scan.

It now looks liket European Delivery will soon be available, is that correct?

Great thanks Gabe… Now I'm forced to print it out and grab my highlighter and start wishing away. I'm for sure going to get fired now. :)

GAH ! ! ! LSD –> TBD !!

Guess I'll just have to stay in suspense.

Does anyone have a pic of the center arm rest?

Photos haven't been released yet of that particular armrest.

Is the armrest additional option or standard?

Additional option.

Will Sirius not be available as an option in 05's?

That would truly suck.

I will have an 05' convertible for sale when I get it in Oct 04'. Serious interested parties only.

Cool Site! Do you know if the base price of the Cooper S is going to change if you order it with an automatic CVT? and if so, do you have any idea what the cost would be?

Thanks!

The MINI Cooper S Automatic will be a conventional unit and not a CVT like the Cooper offers. But in terms of price if I had to guess I'd say between $1200 and $1500.

Thanks for the info. Now I have another question. Do you know what the horsepower is for the 2005 Cooper CVT and the Cooper S (automatic)?

I'm trying to decide if I need the extra horsepower or if I should just go for the base Cooper.

Thanks!

Went in to place an order with the nearby BMW Mini dealer for a 05 Cabrio w/ premium package. Was expecting to have to pay MSRP after talking with this dealer for the past 60 days.. but was surprised when the dealer tacked another $1900 on top of MSRP at the bottom of the order form. I took back my deposit and told him to forget it. Let the ratcheting begin….

Gabe,
Do you think the door garage auto headlite automatic tranny can be adopt to my 03 cooperS?

No idea at this point.

Is there anyone out there that has bought a MCS that can tell me if there is any negotiation room when you buy? I have been told that there is no negotiating room and that everyone pays the MSRP. Is that true or simpy something that salespeople are trained to say?

Matt….For the most part,
there isn't much negotiating room. Sales personel will try to sell you 'packages', which is what they are supposed to do. My MCS this April came with the Union Jack and leather as the only 2 options I wanted, and I saved 2-3K…..Lovin' my ride!

Is the four door mini available for purchase in the USA

how can help me to get Part No. 522
Xenon-Lights
