From mph-online:
The first ever production Mini-Minor is seen in front of a 1948 Morris Minor MM at the Design Museum in London. The London museum is displaying a selection of classic british car design from October 12 on.

It was essentially a one man car – the plant foreman ran it thru the line and did everything himself to make sure the line worked as planned. The proof is in the finished Mini, which started right up. There were actually at least two other “doubles” with 621 AOK plates that were used at publicity gigs. I saw her at the Heritage Museum, along with the factory’s collection of Monte cars, (I got to sit in the ’65 winner and take piccies – way cool!) and unusual Mini variants. Thank God they hung on to important cars! I wish they’d kept the Orange Boxes, tho.
