A quick public service announcement. As we add more magnetic badges, we’ll also be retiring older ones. To start with we are retiring five as of next week. So if you want to get your orders in for any of the following badges, make sure to do it by next week. This decision is based purely on sales numbers with one except; the 2006 Dragon badge. As we mentioned previously, the Dragon badge was meant to only be produced for a limited time and that time is up.
You can take a closer look at the badges by clicking on each and you can buy the badge (or badges) of your choice by clicking on the button to the left.
We’ll have a few new badges to announce next week!
It’s sad to see any of them go away, but I totally understand.
Don’t magnets cause problems with, say, onboard compasses one might use for navigation?

I’d say if that were true you’d want to also remove all the magnets in the six speakers in the MINI because the collective pull of those is probably dozens of times stronger than a .030 thick x 3″ magnet on a grille badge which is four feet from the windscreen.
I guess I don’t know if this is a serious question or not…
The GOOD news is, with 13 on the front now, I can tuck in behind a semi and drop the car into neutral. Saves a lot of gas.
I have two of the ones they are retiring, so does that make them collectors items? Ooo ebay! =P And I hope that they bring back the checked one someday, because I am thinking my next MINI will be checked White/Black.
