Todd revisited MTTS with Gabe and managed to get a little bit more recording done. They spoke with Jim McDowell from MINIUSA and the owner of this car that was in the first accident of the event. Luckily, nobody was hurt.
Did I mention they got to turn a lap at The Brickyard?
We’re almost done gang! Only a few more days to go. I will be posting voicemail updates tomorrow so there is still time to call in your report to the WRR voicemail line at (206) 33-WHITE.

Great clip guys.
Todd, I know exactly how you felt driving at Indy.
Back in 1988 I started working as a course marshal at Watkins Glenn. During the spring orientation I took a walk down the pit lane. I gat the same feeling you did driving at Indy.
There I was walking along the pits where the greats of motor racing worked and won. Jackie Stewart, Icx, Shelby, JV, Petty, Moss, Mario, the list is quite long. It is quite a over whelming feeling being at one of the holy sites of racing.
Thanks for sharing,
Cheers,
Jack
I had that same feeling in Europe, when I visited a number of tracks, some of them no longer in use. Driving in Monaco was kind of the same, especially the tunnel. Everybody should get a pit visit at a great track at least once – it’s almost trancendtal.
