A little closer to running on time tonight, we finally get talking about MINI stuff and go for about 1/2 hour. Gabe is spending time in a Cooper and can’t figure out why it’s a $20K car. He sounds shocked to here I paid $24K for mine. He did spend some time reminicing about the pure silver dash and silver headliner. See, there is love for the MC! Oh yea, and I’m finally getting an auto up circuit. Full review coming soon.
He’s shocked over $24K for a Cooper? He’d probably pass out if he heard what I paid for mine. I currently hold the record for most expensive MC at my dealership.
Wait… what now? No I’m not at all shocked about a 24K Cooper. I’m shocked that DB paid that much for his specifically. I didn’t think it was possible at that time to get his options and pay that much.

he payed MSRP + shipping ($500) for a car on the lot that came from NY.
At least that’s what he told me 😉

I did buy it in California. It was a pre-Spec’d MC that came from a dealer in NY that couldn’t sell it. And, before you ask….
