Both Worldcarfans and the Car Connection are running the same photos of the Clubman doing more testing in the depths of the Nordic winter. While there’s nothing there that we didn’t see last week, they offer yet another great look at the car in almost final trim. It’s also worth noting that both these publications are, for the first time, not calling it the “Traveller”. Maybe they’re finally getting the message.

The car looks good to me. I wish we could see pics in different colors, not just “hearse”black.
I am very optimistic about the prospect substantially increased rear leg room and better ride quality due to the longer wheelbase. Can’t wait to see this baby collecting thropies and “smoking” the politically correct and “proper” 2 door MINIs out in the track.
So Gabe, your promised us today some big news regarding the seating configuration of the Clubman….I hope you are ready to spill the beans fairly soon.
While I’m not a big fan of asymetric styling, (altho I always had a yen for the Mini-based Surfite) – it often seems contrived, or added in haste – the coach door looks relatively innocuous, thank God. It fits right into to lines of the car, and face it, anything to make ingress and egress easier in an elegant manner – wait’l your favorite pair ‘o gams is gracefully exiting the passenger seat and we’ll talk about added value – it’s a plus in my book!

I meant to say Tuesday – sorry 😉
OK, I have “marked” your words. Don’t let us down! 😉
Those are great shots of the Clubman – very clear with very little camo. The car looks great to me! Can’t wait to see it in different (and brighter) colors.
Still a mini all in all, having said that still two things bug me about the car. From behind it still is a little boxy, which is a trend I personally dislike. I also believe that the rear quarter panel and roof line is a little rough looking compared to the design of the rest of the car. Have no doubt that long term they will grow on me, I just hope you guys thinking its going to be quicker than the standard mini have read that its also heavier than the R56. Will be interesting to see how the two compare on the track.
This may be a stupid question, but here it goes. Will there be a S version of the Clubman?
World car fans says it will seat 5.
