MINI USA’s Motorby Billboard in Action
These are just a few of the phrases that displayed when I drove under Chicago’s MINI Motorby billboard recently. Luckily there’s a side road just underneath the sign that allowed me to park and see all the messages as they cycled through. Unfortunately the information they used was based on the notion that I was a member of the press (since I went to the MINI R56 launch this past in February) and thus many of the phrases didn’t really make sense. I’ve since requested that I’m put back in the normal owner pool which should result in much more interesting phrases.

I’m still trying to figure out, is it “motor-bye” or “motor-bee”? Nice work nonetheless Gabe!
I’m thinking “Motor-By”, as in “Motor Past”. Although, DB, don’t I recall you referring to the stock Cooper exhaust as, ahem “A pissed-off bumble-bee”? So, I guess it could go either way…
