Just back from MOTD 2007 and… I’m completely running on fumes. Another year and another event I’ll never forget. Over the next few days you will see more photos a quick review and a bunch of in car video. And as always we invite you the readers to show us your 2007 MOTD photos. You can either post them in the MotoringFile Flickr Group or simply link to your gallery below in the comments.

Photos look great so far. Can’t wait to hear some of the trip details as well as what you thought of the new car. Especially after putting in a long, unsupervised weekend on one of the best roads out there.
Just got back home in the UK… Completely enjoyed meeting everyone this weekend!… Looking forward to seeing the photos and videos!… Can’t wait for next year!…
Few but fun:

I look forward to hearing what you though about having the OZ’s Gabe on the test car you took. Should be interesting to see if you felt any differences from the prior track time you had in the R56.
That camera mount looks like a real de-capitator. There’s got to be a better way to do that.
My understanding is that Gabe’s R56 press car does not have either Sports Suspension Plus or LSD, 2 “must haves” according to his review from the unveiling in Arizona.

I actually run a very very similar setup and I must say it is quite efficient and extremely sturdy!! =)

Instead of U-bolts mine has holes drilled in for the headrests.
Welcome back Gabe! I’m looking forward to all the goodies you have to share with us!
I’m sure its sturdy, and perhaps that is the scariest part. Maybe your square tube is a better choice than Gabes flat bar when it comes to “cutting-edge” but I would not want one of these spanning the seat backs even if there was a slight chance that you might find your pumpkin bouncing around the cabin.

It’s not a flat bar. Actually it’s almost identical to the photo above. And it doesn’t span the seats.
Thats better…and I trust you have something to discourage impalement on the end of the tube?
