A little talk about some issues we had during the week as Gabe drove back into Chicago. He wasn’t under attack, it was the air show in town.
If you are an ’02 to early ’03 and you have the drilled control arms, you might want to check those out for cracks or bends. You can pick them up at your dealer or any of the fine sponsors listed on the right for a great price and they take 10 minutes with a jack, an 18mm socket and a 18mm box wrench. Definitely worth it for the piece of mind. Oh yea, while you are inspecting them, Gabe thinks it would be a good idea to check for rodents.
Looking for Gabe’s Ortega Highway joke? Woof 66 is where you will find it.
Then our top 5 mods for the ’02 – ’06 R53. I think we picked the standard mods, but if we missed something, let us know in the comments!
And, back by popular demand is the zip file of the show. Those of you that might be having problems downloading the show for whatever reason, give that one a shot and see if it works. Just follow the show notes link below to get it.

Not related to the show but did you guys notice that BBC America started showing Top Gear. Hopefully they will start showing new episodes when the new season starts.
Find your kicks on Woof 66?
I just noticed that the new Motoringfile logo – twin chevrons – is also a graphic used in the John Cooper Works accessories brochure. So that’s where it came from..

Wow that’s pretty insulting.
No insult intended – just an assumption. They are not using it as a logo, but a graphic element that appears throughout the booklet. It would seem like a smart thing to do, so I’m not sure why its an insult.
Never the less I take it that you were not trying to build a connection between the graphics used in the John Cooper Works material and MotoringFile? Chevrons are a coincidence? You never saw it? They got it from you??…
To me they look like they are from UK directional road signs…
