One of our favorite automotive magazines has had their time with a Clubman. As you would expect, it’s a great review!
Before really getting into it, they did have to jab a little on the club door.
>Why on earth not make a dedicated version of the Cluman for left-side-driving countries? It seems absolutely the correct thing to do with a Mini. In any case, for those of us driving in the right lane, the Clubman is great for its accessibility.
They do go on to sing the praises of the added interior volume and provide a quick bit of trivia. Did you know that the Clubman has the longest roof out of any other BMW product, including the Rolls-Royce Phantom? Follow the link below for more.

It’s time for the left lane driving countries to switch to right lane.
There is no good reason to stay left other than old out dated tradition.
I personally think it’s kinda kool that we have countries that are different. I once drove in Jamaica which use the British style took a few days but I had a ball learning, well other than the near head on collisions. Shifting with the left hand was a trip! Why should we McMac everything? Viva la difference!
I love the photographers name… Wolfango Spaccerelli… now that a proper, as Ian would say, name!
Longest roof? Longer than an X5 or a 3 Series wagon? I’m not buying that.
And before the roof, the MINI hood was the biggest single pressing panel.
Getting Great Britain and the old colonies, Japan, Thailand, Japan, Australia, South Africa and other African nations to change to the rh side of the road is going to be some mean feat! Last to do this was Sweden. It’s never going to happen.
Now I’m not going to keep banging on about the suicide door, but…
The article says its longer than the 5 series wagon. It must have set a record for headliners too…
And what a nice roof it is!!!
