At least that is what the Daily Record is saying.
>In many UK dealerships Mini Clubman allocations were quickly snapped up, leaving the car sold out into 2008. The bumper sales also meant Mini enjoyed their largest ever share of the UK market last month, at 2.59 per cent.
Not only that, but the Clubman contributed to the record number of MINI registrations i the UK. For the month of November there were 4104 new MINIs registered alone.
With the limited availability we are going to have with the Clubman here in the States, I would imagine we’ll be telling a very similar story sometime around the end of March ’08.

I knew it! That’s why I put a deposit down on one in Jan. 2006. Can’t wait to see my Clubby delivered in 2008. So happy to have been no. 1 on the list.
Thank You MINI!!!
I guess the club door being on the wrong side is not the issue it was made out to be.
Cheers,
Jack
Our 2008 Cooper S Clubman will be delivered to us Launch day, or thereabouts. I have been predicting since the R56 was launched earlier this year, that the Clubman will become the new MINI bestselling model. I do not have to go into the reasons why, but for any MINI fan that has a knack for good design taste, the R55 is clearly the better implementation of Hildebrand’s work.
Patiently waiting for mine. Said a sad goodbye to my R56 Cooper just before Christmas. Roll on late January!
