Peter Doulman Talks About the MINI Challenge in Austrailia
Here’s a great interview with Peter Doulman, winner of the Australian 2L Touring Car Championship in 1993, who will also be running in the upcoming Australian MINI Challenge.
>”I’ve had experience working with BMW in the past so I know the quality of their product and the MINI Challenge so far seems to be an extension of that,” he said.
>”They not only know how to build race cars, but with the success of MINI Challenge overseas they know how to run a professional and thriving category and we wanted to be a part of that.”
>After enormous success in Germany, Great Britain and New Zealand, MINI Challenge Australia will hit Australian tracks at Eastern Creek in March.
A very interesting interview, will be looking forward to watching the news from the Australian Mini Challenge series. Still longing to see if we can ever get this to the states.

Can’t wait for this, I hope it goes really well for MINI Australia. There is an event at Wakefield Park on April 4-6 that I’ll be sure to check out.
MINI Challenge at Phillip Island or Bathurst would be worth flying home for…it eill be a awesome addition to the V8 Supercar weekends.
The NZ 2007/2008 series is three rounds old and continues to entertain. Now we will have some Trans-Tasman rivalry – a bit like USA vs Canada.
