We gave you the chance to ask some questions, and Gina Koutros took almost 20 minutes with us earlier today to answer them.
Besides the questions, we also get some more information about the way the events were planned, hows and whys and all that.
There will be more updates coming a little later this week or early next. You can get updates automatically via email or subscribe via RSS. Of course, we will be posting those updates at Motoringfile.com as well.
And, finally, don’t forget to register if you plan on going! If you want the goodie bag, you are going to have to register!
And, keep up with WRR, MF and WR.tv for all of our coverage. Audio, video, photos and blog posts. So, if for whatever reason you can’t make it, we’ll have you covered!

I’m trying to come all the way from Germany over for the Chicago weekend. I can’t bring my MINI unfortunately, but hope I can get someone to give me a ride?

Not sure yet if I am packing the family for the event or not (although they are all registered). If I have no room, I am pretty sure someone from the Chicago MINI Motoring Club will have a passenger seat open..
Try posting up in the Chicago NAM forum area
I may have missed it, but if I register and can’t make it, do they send me the swag bag?
A big thanks to Gina
Still just can’t justify a 10 hour drive to get to LA heh.
Glad to see they are going to get a JCW to Chicago and LA, quite a treat. Any bets we will not see any cars provided without the JCW aero kit and a proper suspension. Think bringing completely stock JCW cars would be a boon as it will give perspective buyers a idea what they will need to do to make the car right for them. Plus they will very doubtfully will allow anybody to push the car hard enough to make the very soft stock suspension shine through.
Philip,
I am sure that I or someone else would be more than happy to let you ride in the navigator seat. My car is also a Hyper Blue!
Blake
I’ll be happy to pick up Rauno Aaltonen at the airport in MIA.
some day i’ll have time to listen. Transcript anyone?
Hmmmm. A joy-ride in a John Cooper Works will be interesting, altho Rauno or Paddy or Timo would’ve been appreciated. I’m a half-full kinda guy, so there’s still more to savor at the bar, this way.
Thanks Steve and Blake, I’ve posted to NAM. I hope I can make it!
