Todd, Chad from DetroitTuned and myself get together tonight to talk about the latest news from Motoringfile.com, the state of the auto industry and spark plugs. Again. And, with the new show format, you get a long show. Feedback? You know what to do.
Be sure to keep an eye on detroittuned.com for cool stuff coming, like online ordering. And, if you are in the neighborhood cruise by and check out the new shop!
Do you use Twitter? I’m @dbwilldo, Todd is @toddsmods, Gabe is @gbridger and Michael is @radiationman. 206-202-3252 is the new voicemail line that you can use to ring us up too.

It was Suzuki:

Never got the whole thing but I’m sure it appeals to some. Had a RSS feed for awhile but cancelled it after a few months.
just curious, are you implying that the other parts of your show have no content? ;p
BTW… The Suzuki Swift is a joke!
I don’t generally listen to the entire show on a single sitting because I just don’t have the time to sit down for the entire length of it, but this show I did.
I thoroughly enjoyed the discussion, particularly about the state of the American auto industry. The discussion was balanced to admit the, yes the American companies make some pretty sad cars but they also do make some good cars and sited examples and why they are good. Most discussions I’ve heard had either they’re all good, what’s wrong with us for not buying American cars, or they’re all bad. Also, the discussion about the Camaro taking so long to get to market. The manufacturers not only need to be innovative, they need to be faster in bringing that innovation to market at a reasonable cost. If you don’t bring it to market, you’ve wasted the money to even do the design study.
Thanks also on the insite on the Sparkplug issue. Having recently installed a pulley in my car, I’ve been reading all sorts of conflicting information on the belt as well as the sparkplug issues. Thanks for putting a lot of the information into some context.
On another note on the Car manufacturer’s bailout hearings, I couldn’t help but think about the SNL skit last week. If anybody paid attention, MINI got special mention at the very end of it. If you look past the comment about building “gayer cars”, I felt there had to be a reason why the SNL writers would single out the MINI as an example GM,Ford,Chrysler should be looking at in designing and building cars Americans want.
The You Tube version is dead last I checked but I found another and put in on TwistyBlitz.com.

Honestly, you should have seen me cringe when Todd said that. Which is why I gave him such a hard time about it. 😉

Thanks! We really appreciate that!
