MINI United 2009: Todd & Gabe Talk WC50
Shortly after we reported on the WC50, Todd was able to connect with Gabe during his weekend to talk about the car and a little bit about MINI United.

<p>Of course the price mentioned in the audio here has been corrected to 40K euros not GBP. Not a huge difference but a slightly cheaper proposed price point than originally thought.</p>
<p>Still awaiting word on any allocation to the US.</p>

<p>It would be great to see them hit the US shores. I would not be in line for one of them but still think its a great idea.</p>
<p>Couple points… the price in the US seems to be lower on pretty much every car than the currency conversion would indicate. So the guestimates on the price are all probably high…</p>
<p>That said, I’d never be in line for one of these… Badge and color? Not my cup of tea at all.</p>
<p>But if someone else wants one, I won’t stand in the way….</p>

<p>How about those black wheels in 17″ size? Will they be available in US as option for MCS or JCW factory car? Am I the only one wondering about this? I think they look awesome.</p>

<p>This is an awesome car and there will for sure be a few Large markets that miss out…that is the quote that I believe I remember reading somewhere…could that mean the US? Seeing they are going to build 250 (more than what was originally thought…wernt 150 being allocated to the UK market?</p>
