Official Release: The John Cooper Works name has been inextricably linked with the legendary motorsport exploits of MINI for over 40 years now. The acclaimed British firm is synonymous with racing expertise and premium quality, and the spirit of John Cooper is also woven into the exquisite MINI Collection in the shape of textiles and accessories for him and her. This sporting product line sets out to “KEEP IT WILD†and transfer that racing feeling to the road. In so doing, the items in the range exude a cool vintage style, complete with logos and trim features which recall the distinctive British Racing Green colour shade. This authentic look will please both budding amateur mechanics and those with less of a fondness for grease and spanners.
The Men’s John Cooper Works T-Shirt ensures you make a fine impression both in the workshop and beyond with its stand-out “KEEP IT WILD†motif in easy-going distressed look.
Understated details like the green contrasting stripes on the collar and arm borders, and the embroidered JCW logo on the chest are signature features of the Men’s John Cooper Works Polo. This grey shirt with button-down neck and striking red trim under the collar is extremely comfortable and should be an essential feature of any wardrobe.
The long-sleeved John Cooper Works Rugby Shirt with buttoned V-neck in understated green is just what you need for those cooler days in the MINI. The stylish men’s version grabs the attention with its red Racing Stripes on the lower left sleeve and black stitched JCW logo on the chest. The ladies’ shirt boasts a bold “KEEP IT WILD†print on the front, contrasting stripes on the left upper sleeve and embroidered JCW logo on the nape of the neck.
The Unisex John Cooper Works Belt is a fitting addition to the vintage line. This practical worker-style accessory has two pockets attached to its reverse side which feature “KEEP IT WILD†artwork and offer a home-from-home for keys, credit cards and the like. The belt buckle provides secure support with its double-eye clasp.

I received an email awhile back saying that MINIUSA.com and MotoringGear.com would both be updated around the end of October. Looking forward to getting some new MINI stuff.

Likely talked about before, Cooper Bikes is also an interesting brand extension:

Looks like “GabeWear” to me… ;-)

Well I guess if I had a JCW this all would be kool but I don’t so it all sucks… just kidding. Do like those pretty sparkly shoes though and the long sleeve shirt.

KEEP IT WILD and KEEP IT AWAY FROM ME

A bit too understated

Darn…I just bought a pair of the shoes last Monday. I would have liked the JCW striping a lot better than the silver ones on the pair I bought.

Would be nice if MINI’d get their act together and get Motoring Gear back up…it’s about 2 months overdue now, I’d like to be able to see all the goodies, and not just the ones in the 2008 catalog laying around MINI of Annapolis

None of it is offensive per se and I think the stash pocket belt is kind of dope, but what is with the Christmas themed green and red and contrived stitch detailing? There is nothing vintage inspired but the heather fabric… and really, I think if I wanted to spend $100 for something JCW I will keep it bolted to my car and leave the clothing up to the experts. As for bikes, they are going to get smoked but it is a cool brand extension. The business model behind http://www.missionbicycle.com is more what I would have expected from them if they were looking to cater to the same customer audience with this division

Green and red are offical JCW colors.

My Christmas list just got longer…

I saw a pair of the asics on ebay a while back, too bad their not puma. But very cool. It would be nice to have burberry back the brand.

“new Vintage” – an oxymoron, no?
