Lose the surfer dudes and bring on more beach babes! Maybe bring Jimmy Buffett or Jack Johnson out to ring in a new era.

MINI- Build this vehicle (in addition to the “Crossover”) and put a bench seat in the rear!!! And, call it the Beachcomber. Sales in locales like CA, FL, Hawaii, the Caribbean, and all island nations would be off the charts! Make it happen!

there were many in the crowd that thought the same thing.

Um…. Okayyyyyy….. That’s over 9 min of my life that are gone for good. Only good thing was to see the car actually move and get a small hint of the driving dynamics and proportions.

Yea, I think they were trying to show the masculine MINI Beachcomber. Land-shark was used by BMW for the Z4 launch and now used for MINI , I thought it was funny.
Maybe the dancing was a bit long.

I don’t think those male dancers appealed to the “masculine” target market…, although they may appeal to some males!

That was really odd – especially the shark head! I thought the dance at the beginning, before the break dancing, looked like something I did in elementary school jazz dance lessons! The break dancing with MINI feels kind of old now. It seems like they throw it in to make MINI feel “youthful”, but I don’t know how I feel about it anymore…

I thought it was great news that the MINI E’s lease will be extended!! I bet those who have them, have fallen in love with them and will be very excited at this news! I would like to see more real MINI E owner coverage and experiences on MF – that would be cool!

Shark head included? If it comes with a shark head AND a Mini surf board, then I will have one on order TONIGHT! lol. And no, that was the least masculine thing I have ever seen. West Side Story dancing to introduce a car. I cant decide though if it was better or worse than the crazy half naked twins.

I was one of those people in the crowd saying loose the dancing routine. I didn’t see a point in it, the same thing at the VW press conference when they intorduced the New Concept Coupe.

After looking at the pictures I took of the Beachcomber, the side profile of the front end looks like a shark!

I must be getting old, because I thought the little dance routine was pointless and annoying.

It’s good to hear about all the success and innovation from MINI. That’s fantastic news.

Where was Anette and Frankie… anyone say Volt dance? Gad…?

“I come here to tell you dat dese beach bums is bums.”… Eric VonZipper

Please stop the dancing!!! I can’t take the dancing!!!!

lol the dancing was bad, but i thought the sharkhead was a little funny

Landshark (SNL) was funny that was sad!

Was the Shark Drinking and Driving?!?

Or was it an attempt to mimic Ed-the-Sock?

I think I’d rather ride my motorcycle than this monstrosity. Besides, motor vehicles should be banned from beaches. Stupid concept!

Wow, the dancing bit was just awkward and embarrassing.
