We’re all familiar with MINI’s new All4 Countryman crossover. But what about an oversized 4×4 classic Mini? Well, thanks to Mila Janacek of the Czech Republic, just such a thing exists. In the video above, Mila and Countryman design lead Gert Hildabrand explore this orange original. As I’m sure someone would be quick to point out, this isn’t actually a Mini — at least not mechanically. All the same though, it’s a fantastic homage to the classic car. Perhaps the best way to think of it is as a miniature monster truck. Big Foot is not actually a Ford F-150. This isn’t actually a Mini, but it’s still pretty cool. What’s best, it’s actually off-road capable. You can read the full story over at the MINI Space Blog.

Odd, wasn’t shown here before?

A great marriage! Mini style and Suzuki’s bulletproof 4×4 drivetrain! This is brilliant and what the Countryman (Moke version) should aspire to be. Of course, removable doors and convertible top are also mandatory.
The only thing I would change about this guy’s creation is the wheel/tire combo.
