Tastes in custom cars are as varied as the rainbow of available metal flake paint they come in. Take this latest offering from Schmidt Revolution. They took a MINI Clubman S, added some custom wheels, a blue vinyl wrap, a Streetec air suspension, and then tuned the engine up to 200 hp. The best part (and no, I can’t keep a straight face as I type this) is the name. They’re calling it the StreetWorker. The grill badge is a nice touch though. More photos after the break.

The question is are those real CF fenders? Cause if so that is awesome! The only thing I don’t like is the wheels the rest is ok and not horrible. Kind of reminds me of the concept they had for the Clubman. I think they called it the Traveller or something like that.

Wow. They ripped off my off-center UJ grille badge design from 2006. Granted they’re not the first.

Okay, so what have we really got here? Basically, some mediocre photos of a Clubman sporting a JCW aero kit. As Mike Burley pointed out, they did a vinyl wrap, some rims, and a suspension drop. We probably wouldn’t even be seeing this here if it wasn’t such a slow news day. But this is a slow news period, and since all us MF readers pop in each day expecting to see something new, Gabe & Company felt that this was better than nothing. If nothing else, it’s given us something to talk about!

I concur that the grill badge is a nice touch – It looks like it might be a Silver & Black Union Jack.

Another positive is the rear quarter view, which shows that a Clubman looks pretty good after you get rid of the contrasting C-pillars and bumper cover.

That said, the package as a whole doesn’t do anything for me. The rims don’t compliment the car, although making them body color makes them look better than if they were chrome (and when I first saw the opening photo, I though they were chrome.) The drop is such that the car couldn’t be driven on anything other than glass-smooth asphalt – and it wouldn’t be able to go around corners because there’s no room for the front wheels to steer.

As they say, so each his own . . . and this isn’t mine!

I like the rims, not what I’d want on my MINI, but stylish.

What really ruins the car, though, is how far they lowered it. The wheels get cudt by the arches and it destroys the lines of the car, IMHO. If it was 1 to 2″ higher, it would be much better.

I don’t care for the wheels myself but the rest of the Clubman looks fantastic. It’s hard to tell without looking at it in person, but the wrap job looks well done and the color is superb.

With an air ride, they could have lowered it a bit more. =)

what i love about mini, its a true optional car and a canvas to start with, some of us like this above some dont, unsure myself but got to love the mini community.

Hopefully the people who made that will never work for MINI Design…

Were they trying to make the pictures look like bad photoshop?

Horrible

Grille badge after the break? I didn’t see any pics of the one on the Clubby only a link to Motoring Badges???

Sorry, but this StreetWalker will get no bizz from me.

Ghetto. Does not interpret the MINI brand well. Sorry, this one is a loser.

How Crap!

I mean WOW!

I’m blown away!

I’m completely speechless!

This car is AWESOMELY
TERRIBLE!!!

No really, this easily ranks up there as one of the WORST mods I’ve seen done to a MINI. Heck, the name is about as tasteless as the car!!!

And considering that I almost NEVER comment here – the fact that this monstrosity spurred me to comment should say a lot…

Never thought a few mops could make a mini look so bad. Really, its just rims, paint, and knuckle dragging lowering springs…

The photography doesn’t help either. Less is more sometimes.

Fugly.

Wow. They ripped off my off-center UJ grille badge design from 2006. Granted they’re not the first.

See I thought it simply was the Black & Silver UJ from your designs, Gabe. Hard to tell at that distance.

Rally of m|u still holds the title of hottest clubman. This is tasteless and adolescent.

The rims are just too “ghetto” for my liking, but I’m a fan of anyone attempting to wrap a car. This MINI though, is not special.

Actually a German Company called attractive4Mini did the Wrapping and the Modifications for Schmidt Revo. They are working together for Schmidts new Rims.
They added special Headlamps with DayLight Driving lights and there Badge…;)
Here are some more Pics

They (Attractive4Mini) also did a RECARO Special called NEW MINI DESIGN
http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=227806&id=239476431732

Besides being very ugly, whats so special about it? Like nobody else has lowered, wrapped, and put rims on a MINI before. Now if you want to see a good custom mini check out the MINI bully by SIMACHEV. http://www.askforcars.com/2010/04/mini-cooper-bully-by-simachev.html

I think the badge says “This is how we kill a brand”

I don’t care for the Clubman anyway. My guess is the CM will kill it.

so…. low…..

YO Get low… wazz up… Pimp my ride! Give dis 10 years and da bro’s will be clubbin downtown.

Not understanding all the hate. Besides the wheels, which are an acquired taste, there really isn’t much out of the ordinary going on there.

That my friends, is one fugly piece of carp…

Intentional typo

yeah, this is pretty bad, and looks like a botched photoshop job to top that off

The wrap looks awful. There’s more shine on the tires than the wrap. They even spent more time waxing the ground than the car.

Oh wow, nice……. naaaaa, its bad. Really.

I like the rims, not what I’d want on my MINI, but stylish.

What really ruins the car, though, is how far they lowered it. The wheels get cudt by the arches and it destroys the lines of the car, IMHO. If it was 1 to 2″ higher, it would be much better.

The company that did the “styling” didn’t spell Schitt Revolution correctly.

They should have painted the wheel arches and aero kit body color also air bags will raise/lower the body as required..

I don’t care for the wheels myself but the rest of the Clubman looks fantastic. It’s hard to tell without looking at it in person, but the wrap job looks well done and the color is superb.

With an air ride, they could have lowered it a bit more. =)

All I have to say is wings west called and they want there RICE back….

what i love about mini, its a true optional car and a canvas to start with, some of us like this above some dont, unsure myself but got to love the mini community.

Take off the vinyl, change the wheels to something smaller, and less ugly, and ditch the stupid grill badge, and done.

a little wheel gap doesn’t sound so bad now, does it
