This fun new MINI ad made its way to our inbox yesterday and we were fortunate enough to get in touch with William Clark, the spot’s director, who provided us with an embeddable version. The ad highlights the wide range of models and accessories now available for MINI through the classic game of the red light fire drill. Great stuff, William. Thanks for making it available. This ad will start running (along with others) at movie theaters across the country and I wouldn’t be surprised if you saw it on the small screen in the near future as well.
You can see more of William’s work at WiliamClarkPhotography.com.

Wait… never the same who? ;-)

I think this is a GREAT commercial for MINI. I like the others too, but I don’t think as many non-MINI people ‘get’ them.

Very well done!

Is that Doggie Howser driving the clubby?

That was cute – liked the music, also.

One of the better MINI commercials as of late.

Why aren’t they wearing their seatbelts?

Oops…sorry, only in the opening scene…

VERY good, keep this guy around. It’s nice to see that PW looks good across the range.

This was shot in the Warehouse District in downtown Minneapolis. When they back the Countryman up to retrieve the dog, you can see the corner my building (office) in the far left of the frame. Fun location. Wonder how long it took to film this given all the car, wheel and other changes.

Nice , the bulldog is back like in the convertible commercial of 04′. Almost the same kind of theme.

**and in 2005 the video added for the convertible launch interactive game lay out. Two guys , a bulldog, and cooking on a grill on the boot.

I see the skateboarding bulldog seems to get the jobs!

Now that’s a great ad!!!

compare to chryslers’ 500 commercial. day and night

I like this!! A definite step in the right direction for MINI ads!

It grabs your attention too so hopefully some more people will consider a MINI after seeing this in theatres!

Brilliant!

It has a funky “Austin Powers” feel about it. Especially when the passengers are waving their arms behind the guy with the Beefeaters helmet. Good music too. This spot should appeal to those not “in the know” about MINI culture as the rest of us.

I like it. Good to see the Bulldog mascot again – not enough attention is given to this icon.
Would like to see the ol’ stars ‘n stripes on the roof though.

this video is excellent, and introduces an even higher standard for future mini ads.
It really shows the variety within the MINI models.

sweet!!!
this is something we played at a pooley party a few years back…and at the MINI Invasion held in Toronto last year!

so much fun :D

The commercial turned out great, Nice to see a Bulldog thats not over weight for a change…. very cute
