Apologies for the delay in getting this posted. That said, let’s move on.
We swapped Chad for Gabe tonight which is always a treat, as long as he isn’t trying to steal the show from me. But, even more Coupe talk, quite a bit more Fiat 500 talk and I even let some Bimmer talk in. And, some Top Gear talk.
White Roof Radio live is coming together nicely! We would still love for you to RSVP either way (Yes/No/Maybe) to give us an idea of how many of you fine people are planning on attending.

Couple of comments, if you want a classic example of build quality standards with cars declining just look at old Mercedes vs new. A world apart, while bespoke details are very nice the basic mechanical of most all new cars are never built to the standards of long term stability.

Also have to say I was more than aware of the 24 hours races long before the new MINI. I have been a fan of them for a long time and now lots of people that are very aware of the Ring.

I enjoyed this show until about 55 minutes in with all the Fiero misinformation. Truth be told, I probably wouldn’t have bought a MINI if I wasn’t looking for the same kind of driving experience (though much improved from 20 years ago) as my Fiero. The front suspension, the first few years were from Chevette parts. The rear was from the Citation or 6000. The rest of the car is pretty well model specific. The 88 Fiero has a one off suspension. Try getting parts for that. The V6 for the Fiero never came supercharged or turbocharged from the factory. Enough of that. This is a MINI show afterall.
