Finally! After months of speculation, spy shots, really bad renders and more press releases than we could shake a stick at, we get to see and talk about the F56! But this show is all about our initial assessment and opinions on the most anticipated MINI yet.
Fitting that we get to share this information with you today, which is Alec Issigonis birthday. He would have been 107 today. And, for those of you that don’t know what I’m on about (really?), click the link to read the Wikipedia entry for the man that, essentially, invented our car.

<p>This was a great episode. I really enjoyed it. Two questions:</p>
<p>1) Does anyone know if the pop-n-burble is still there on the S? With the 3cyl having a turbo, does it get the pop-n-burble too?</p>
<p>2) Anyone else having “pauses” issues with the podcast? I’ve been listening for about 4 months now and starting 3 weeks ago, there are times where the audio just pauses. It is like your mic is cutting out, but nothing is missing. It can be mid-word and half a second to 2 seconds later, it picks right up. I have a new iPod Nano. None of my other podcasts do this, and no music does, only this one, and only for the last few weeks. Wondering if you have changed your encoding or editing software. I download and sync it all through the latest iTunes on my PC.</p>
