MINIS On Top, New England’s largest MINI gathering kicked off this weekend with spectacular weather.
If there’s one thing New Englanders know about most it’s probably how precious the spring and summer days are after winter. After the record-breaking winter experienced in this region last winter, MINIs On Top is probably the most anticipated New England event MINI owners look forward to. As guests of MOT know, weather can be hit or miss for the event, but this year appears to have been a hit.
We provided a detailed rundown of MINIs On Top 2014 here, so this year our coverage may be more brief. MINIs On Top started Friday evening and wraps up tomorrow morning. Today, drivers went out on their choice from a number of routes ranging from casual outlet store shopping to roller-coaster-like, twisty mountain backroads of New Hampshire. The event culminates with breathtaking views from the peak of Mt. Washington.
If you couldn’t make it this year, enjoy the gallery of photos below! Thanks to MOT guests for posting these to the MINIs On Top Facebook Group.
UPDATE: There is a great rundown of this year’s MINIs On Top over at The Daily Toggle.

It’s a really great event – loads of fun, great roads, make tons of new friends. Anyone in the NorthEast should give it a shot. Actually, anyone from anywhere who can get there should give it a shot. The weather on the top of the mountain is always interesting and different from year to year.

Scott,
Over the years I have seen many pics of this great event. Unfortunately for me, the trip from California won’t work. What a great event and I hope everyone is having great time.

First of all most know each other.
All the cars are unique
We are all enthusiasts
The scenic routes are breathtaking
More importantly it is a family

Don’t bash something you know nothing about but don’t be an ass.

This is an excellent event and very well run. Thank you to MotoringFile for covering it and the MINIs on Top volunteers for making it happen.

It is a fun weekend to be up in NH, bike week and other informal/formal car rallies are abound lending to a festive atmosphere just about anywhere you may be motoring.

Saturday’s weather was a 10 for most the day, about a 5 on Mount Washington’s summit at sunset, but that is part of the package.

Woo-hoo! Two of my pictures here! From an iPhone 6 too, not a “real camera”!

This was my first time at MOT, it was great! I will be back. I met a lot of very nice people and saw some awesome Minis.
