The New, Notable and Weird from the Tokyo Motor Show

The Tokyo Motor show has long been the show for the more outlandish concepts of the automotive industry. There’s something about the Japanese market that brings out a hive of free-thinking not typically seen elsewhere. That doesn’t mean there aren’t important debuts of actual production cars though as MINI chose the show to officially roll-out the new 2016 MINI Convertible. Then there are the close to production concepts like the Toyota SFR – a car that promises rear wheel drive thrills for under $20k. You can judge for yourself in the gallery below.
