The next step in MINI’s re-brand is here. MINIUSA.com has been fully refreshed with the brand’s new more modern look. Gone is the black backgrounds and thick borders and in their place a more open and premium look. Next up: dealerships. However look for that change to happen much more slowly given the cost and labor required to change the look of so many showrooms. In the meantime, the new MINIUSA.com is here.

There’s a price error on the new site. From the MINIUSA main page scroll down and select “John Cooper Works” in the list of models. Scroll down to the individual JCW models and click “Learn More” for the Hardtop 2-Door. The next screen lists the price for the JCW Hardtop as “Starting at $35,600” which is the starting price for the newly announced JCW Convertible (which isn’t yet listed in the JCW model lineup). If you the “Design Yours” button, the starting price for the JCW Hardtop is correctly shown as $30,600.

MINIUSA.com has been fully refreshed with the brand’s new more modern look.

“modern” isn’t the best word to use here, because it carries a particular meaning in the design field (e.g. early 20th century minimalist Bauhaus). In that sense, the old website had a more “modern” design style.

Modern can refer to more than one attribute (gasps).
