Todd, Chad and I making a show for you guys this week. Starting off with over run from our sponsor spot talking about exhaust before getting into news. Sales, as usual. We are confused, as usual. Also, who’s in for the electric Hybrid MINI? Let us know.
- Tesla increasing it’s lead in the US
- GoMotoring.com is coming soon (the joke that never gets old).
Looking for the shot of Todd’s MINI with the JCW exhaust? Let us know and I will get it uploaded so you guys can check it out! Also, stick around for Woofcast 609. We’ve got some great questions in the Ask Chad queue that we are going to clear out!
Shout-out to Pedro for this week’s show art! Want yours to be featured? All you have to do is upload a photo to our Facebook page or give us an @ reply on Twitter or Instagram. Make those high res too. It’s not a competition, I pick what I like, and might go way back or grab a new one!
Another shout-out to our very fine sponsors: OutMotoring.com and CravenSpeed. Both have hot new sites, both are chock full of amazing products for your MINI. Both work awesome on your phone, so click over any time!

My rental car this week is a Chevy Malibu, and it has auto start/stop as a feature. I hate it. I am also experiencing the weird volume issues on my iPhone 7 that Todd experienced. It really sucks when trying to listen to driving directions. The voice starts out low, so you miss part of the guidance.

In my 2010 r56, I don’t have Bluetooth, so I bought the Belkin splitter to allow me to charge my iPhone 7 while plugged into the aux port. It looks a little crazy but works great. Splitter + Apple dongle + monster aux cable on one side, charging cable on the other. Since it is all plugged into the splitter, it’s actually quicker to set up than before. Works great. Thought I might need a noise isolater too, but the Monster cable is shielded enough, and my car is noisy enough that I don’t hear any hiss. It’s ugly, but it works.
