The MINI Countryman has a number of new to MINI technologies. One of them, the automatic tailgate is genuinely useful. Ok it’s true the Clubman basically has this same technology. And the BMW 5 Series debuted it almost 10 years ago. But the close function is a new one to MINI and will be incredibly helpful for those with stuff, kids, pets or all the above.
