We all saw it coming. The all new MINI Countryman is killing it in the global market with sales up over 19% compared to this time last year. Along with the entire MINI range, this has propelled MINI past 300,000 units sold for the first time this early in the year. In total the brands sales are up 2.5% for the year.

MINI clearly made the right bet in increasing the size and versility of the Countryman over the previous R60 version. In October alone sales were up 45% with 7,503 sold (just over 10% of those being the hybrid model).

What’s interesting is the regions where we’re seeing sales growth. Asia and China specifically are driving much of this increase (China is up 15%) with Europe seeing relatively stag net sales and North America down all year.
