MINI USA Announces MINI Takes the States 2020 Details
MINI Takes the States is six months aways and we finally have some official news on the route and timing. In a surprise move, the 2020 version of MTTS will look quite a bit different than years past.
The route will focus on the east coast and will start in the beautiful town of Burlington VT on July 17th. From there it will wind its way through the eastern part of the United States ending at Spartanburg SC on July 26th.
Why the change? For one MINI USA wanted to design a route that hit parts of the country that haven’t been visited before on an MINI Takes the States. But beyond that they wanted to bring the scale down and allow participants more time to enjoy the drive as they see fit.

Makes sense to get the other side of the states that really haven’t been able to participate over the last few years. The bummer part is that our dealership had plans to run something alongside this, but getting out to the other coast might prove a bit more of a challenge!
Saratoga springs is just a couple of hours from my house. Maybe my wife, daughter and I could put together a fun little weekend up there. Anyone else in the westchester NY area?
