BMW Accidentally Reveals the Electric JCW GP

The all electric JCW GP is coming. Two weeks ago we gave you the world’s first look at MINI’s electric halo. Now BMW has accidentally revealed a few glimpses of it in the recent Chasing iNext documentary.

As you can see in the screen captures the car is heavily based on the 2020 GP with a sprinkling of various MINI Cooper SE graphics thrown in. There are some new details seen in the sketches. In one we can clearly see a vent in the arches (like still carbon fiber) behind the rear tires. And speaking of those arches – they appear to be shaped different and not squared off as they are in the current GP.

Finally we can clearly see two different wheel designs; one based on the current GP and another five spoke with yellow graphics.

The all electric JCW GP (or GPE as we call it) will not debut next week with the MINI Urbanaut but at a later date.
