Bulldog Racing is going back to the 24h of Nürburgring! The announcement comes as the team finished its successful second test session at the ‘Ring last weekend. But it’s their new, secret race car that has us excited.

The team is bringing back last year’s podium winner, the black #126 MINI John Cooper Works 1to6 Edition along with an undisclosed new JCW.

What is it? It’s pure speculation on our part but since the team is connected to MINI tightly and they are using the word “new” in the description, could it be the new MINI Cooper JCW?

Knowing that production of the F66 JCW will begin this November, it could be an opportune time for MINI to preview (in camo form perhaps) the forthcoming halo car for the brand. What better way to prove its capabilities than at the most demanding track in the world? A less exciting prospect could be that we’ll see the return of the massive winged JCW that raced there in 2022 with enough updates to also it look like a new car.

Whatever that second car is, both are planning to pay homage to this year’s 60th anniversary of the first Rallye Monte Carlo victory for MINI.

The next test session will take place on April 27th. Bulldog Racing looks forward to the challenges and triumphs that lie ahead as it returns to the 24h of Nürburgring.

We’ll have much more on the race and that second, new race car poised to join last years 1to6 JCW. Until check out how the team did in 2023 and 2022.
