Introducing MF Stickers + New Badges

Based on your requests we are now offering sticker versions of our MotoringFile Magnetic Grille badges. Each sticker is $4.50 and is made with the same materials as the magnetic badges (sans the magnet).

We’re also introducing seven new designs for both badges and stickers focusing on various countries around the world. And for those planning on making the trek down to the Dragon we have something very special for you. A limited edition Dragon badge only available at the Dragon via Outmotoring. Make sure to check it out while you’re there!

Here’s the new collection (all available as both magnetic grille badges and stickers):

You can purchase your MotoringFile magnetic badges at the following site:

[ MotoringFile Grille Badges For Sale ] MotoringFile Badges

And don’t forget your grille holder if you don’t already have one – they’re required to use MotoringFile magnetic grille badges. You can find them at any one of the following MotoringFile sponsors:

Knauz MINI (mention MF and get 20% off)
Patrick MINI
Morristown MINI (lists for 20% off)
MINI of Manhattan
Outmotoring (ships worldwide)

Now for all you folks who have no idea what we’re talking about here, this post may help:

Wonder how one or two of these stickers might look on my white bonnet stripe? Those are stickers as well (the bonnet stripes I mean), aren’t they? So no damage would be done to the paint?

Just trying to visualize if it would look bad or not. Opinions?

Yes – the bonnet stripes are gigantic stickers.

Todd May 1st, 2006 Link

I actually drove around for a few days with a Dragon magnet on one of my bonnet stripes and it looked totally cool. When you put a magnet on top of the stripe there’s no chance of harming the paint.

I have not tested the magnet on top of the bonnet stripe at speed however.

Looks like a project for this afternoon. : )

With a name like Wezensky, I may have to order the Polish flag badge on my next order.

Have you considered working with some of the MINI clubs to get their logo on these magnets? I’d like to have one of my local club.

Oooo… The badges on the bonnet stripe is sweet!!! They look perfectly sized for placing them there. I think you may have just created another trend.

Is there going to be a way to order the badges without using Paypal? I think I’ve heard rumors of Outmotoring having them available, but can I get a confirmation? Thanks!

You don’t need a PayPal account to use PayPal, you can use a credit card. Works well.

Jon, I think it’s more a matter of the club contacting them… They’ll do custom orders, but I think it’s more appropriate for an official of the club to initiate the process, not Todd or Gabe.

radiationman, agree, I guess I should have asked, who is the vendor that makes these badges, can I contact them, about making specific magnets, that you Todd or Gabe wouldn’t be interested in offering?

Todd is the vendor. Contact him about any setup fees and art requirements.

Kiwi and Aussie flag badges, woot, woot. Thanks Gabe and Todd, you guys rock. I’ll be putting in my orders tonight.

Todd, I e-mailed you a while back about possibly doing some badges for my local club, but still haven’t heard from you. I have the club’s permission, along with the permission of the logo’s creator, but I’m not an official of the club.

Hmm, I have a feeling that new uses will be found for the new stickers too – for example, sticking 3-4 of them on the dash panel on the passenger side?

Or – create a panel, one side is sticky, the other side is magnetic – attach it to the dash, and you can attach your magnetic badges on it, and rotate it when needed. Of course, all of this is way over the top, but you just know that someone is going to try that out :-)

Chad – look for your response via e-mail.

Custom club orders are welcome. You can contact us via the Contact button at the top of the Motoringfile page.

Cheers.

Todd

Maybe the stickers will become “flare” at TGI’s perhaps (think “The Office”). :o)

What are you, and idiot? It’s from “Office Space” not “The Office”!!!!

Sorry, I needed the emphasis…I’m sure you’re lovely. :)

Easy now… Long day – not enough coffee. In my head, I knew it was “Office Space”, but being cooped up in my office I am not thinking 100% clear. Relax, breath, be calm.

Are they vinyl “stickers” (static cling) or do they actually have an adhesive on the back?

The stickers are adhesive backed automotive vinyl. It’s the same vinyl material that bonnet stripes etc. are made of so they will last on the outside of your car.

What about the eagle on the Polish flag – recently returned to the flag? Get that on there and I’d buy another badge.

Check out the flags here. Towards the bottom of the page.

Warning! I placed 3 badges on my stripe as pictured above. They were on my stripe for 5 days while I was at the Dragon. When I took them off on Tuesday May 9th the badges had stained my stripe and scuffed the stripe in three little circles. I will only use the badge holder in the future. To make things worse I had only had my MINI for 12 days and place them there only after this article said they would not damage my stripe.
