Gabe’s sick, db’s is still going on about a TRD Camry (that doesn’t exist) and Todd is telling us about jet fuel being used in NASCAR. Oh yea, before I forget, Todd actually posted to his blog!
Motoringbadges is now the official badge supplier of NAM. Be sure to check out the NAM specific designs.
Plus news of the week. Yes, that was db that thinks the JCW car shouldn’t come with the automatic transmission. Target those comments accordingly.
If you are going to AMVIV, leave us a message below to let us know! And, if you haven’t already, now would be a great time to add yourself to the WRR Frappr Map. Try saying that 3 times fast, its fun!

C’mon, now. It’s been years since NASCAR had any basis in real-world automotive technology. At this point the idea of restrictor plates and fuel regulations should just be canned. Let ’em design, build and race whatever the heck they can envision. The only reason people watch those races is to see the crashes anyway and what burns better than jet fuel? Still wouldn’t do it for me, though. I think I’d rather watch go-carts on an indoor track than oval racing. BO-RING.
Seen any new motoring badge ideas lately?
(Did mine suck THAT BAD? Oh, well…back to the drawing board)
First, Gabe hope you get better. You sounded really sick dude. I know the feeling….
DB: Although my preference is a manual transmission car (MINI) I still think is a little ellitist to say that there should not be a JCW automatic MINI. Agreed that the current AISIN is not the best choice for the track, but still there are folks that for a gazillion different reasons would love to own a shiftless JCW MINI.
Same as you I wish for a DSG or SMG choice in future MINIs but for now, since MINI is about choice and “You-fication” then let others excercise that choice even if we don’t agree with it.
Enjoyed the show. And Todd, don’t be afraid to speak your mind about the looks of the R56….you are not the only one that thinks this new design is going to take some time to get used to 😉
If I had the $$ to buy another MINI, I would buy an overpriced GP than an ’07. Overpriced meaning above MSRP. I don’t like the look, nor the cost cutting results.
There are 2 brand new unsold GPs here in Miami….
