Is this just a happy coincidence that finished (yet taped) pre-production Clubmans have popped up at the very location that MINI United is set to start tomorrow?
Have to say the more I see the Clubman the more I understand a little deeper that while this car is going to sell well it’s just kinda hideous to me. Will look forward to seeing one in person. Right now what is driving me nuts is the front end being smooth and flowing to be followed by the boxy rear end. To my eye they just don’t go together well.
Notice the Hot Chocolate Clubman in the second pic of the first link (on the left of the photo) It’s obviously very dull where that picture was taken, and so the gold metallic flecks don’t ‘pop’ quite so much. Still looks sexy though – and my personal favourite (from seeing those around the factory) Nightfire Red/Silver.
Third door on one side, double doors in back…just awkward looking to my eye. I could be wrong of course, but I don’t see this thing taking off in the US.
I’m really liking what I see so far. Obviously I would like to see one for real but these latest pics got me all excited. Was looking at going with an R56 but it will probably be a Clubman instead; drop it with some coil-overs, add some nice wheels and it should look sweet…
Wow so many things have been given away here. Hot Chocolate paint/interior colour combo. – The new exclusive 5 spoke alloys. The only thing I will say is that these interiors are not the 100% completed product. Notice how shiny the plastics are, these are not grained or ‘gold’ parts as they are known internally. But still, the only things left to be seen are the chrome rear door handles, the light clusters and the full width 3rd brake light.

Can we get Nightfire Red in a Clubman S? It’s shown on a non-S, which doesn’t encourage me.

No, Nightfire red is only available on the One, Cooper and CooperD Models
Looking good!
It’s a good thing they taped over the logo. How can we be sure it’s a MINI?

Posted on our local forum yesterday by a member that actually reads Dutch.

Pardon me, third pic, DOH
A couple of pictures of the interior here:

Rear passenger area has ovals too, like the ones on the doors!
two more cupholders in back too! =P
Good shots! That extra space in the back will make all the difference for a lot of people (me included). Give me a JCW version and we’re all set.

I didn’t think I would, but I’m liking the brown.
The Hot Chocolate Clubman looks absolutely fantastic. And I love the brown leather interior – so stylish.
The split exhaust pipes on the “S” version? That could make hooking up the old bike hitch easier.
The brown leather does look nice, although not nice enough to convince me to drive a station wagon 😉
I’m also noticing some new wheels on the blue one. Anyone got a code yet?

Is that a new red? It doesn’t look like night fire or chili.

What the heck are they hiding with the black plastic on teh rear? It is so tight, pretty much everythign is visible contour-wise.
I didn’t think I liked the Electric Blue/Silver color combination seen in the earlier photosbut what a difference the right wheel/tire combination makes. Those 5-spokers are tight!

Is Hot Chocolate only for the Cooper?

NO, it is definately available for the CooperS Model as well – although I am unsure about One and CooperD Models
Why is the roof looks so thick? I might just settle for the 08 MCS in hot chocolate…

I believe that the back of the car will match the roof color. Could be wrong, could be what they’re hiding.
If that’s the case, visually, the car might appear shorter and more in line with the current models.
I just ran across these pictures and thought I would pass them along. These are the clearest I have seen:
