The three of us back again for a Monday night and off to a silly start. That’s what happens when we are drinking coffee during the show.
We spend some time talking about the comparison between VW and MINI, then Gabe and Todd go off on a JCW tangent. At least I think they did since my eyes pretty much glazed over as soon as soon as they started. Todd did talk about the $40k Clubman again. As soon as Todd gets back from Vegas I will get him to post a picture.
Play along at home. If you are spending $40K on a car, what else could you buy besides a JCW Clubman, new or used?
Thanks again to everyone that has left us the most recent reviews on our iTunes page! We really appreciate it. Of course, if you have something nice to say, feel free to post away!
Finally, if you use Twitter, friend us up! I am @dbwilldo and Todd is @Toddsmods.
For me personally 40k for what I still consider to be a partially built car, no way! Would go after a new nicely equipped 135i or a used 911. I also don’t really see the Beetle Mini comparisons. Think one of the things that really stands out in the Mini group versus the VW group tends to be that Mini covers a lot more of different age groups. VW’s seem to be driven more by younger drivers. Think there is a better case for the classic Beetle and a classic Mini. Though one was clearly the performance car over the other. However both became a cult cars.
