Sure, remote control cars we’ve seen. Full sized even on Discovery Channel. Pretty sure this is the first time you’ve seen one controlled via Bluetooth on a BlackBerry Phone though.
Sure, it’s not MINI related, but it’s Friday and this was the coolest thing I’ve seen in a while.

At first when watching it, I thought “oh that’s pretty cool, a Bluetooth-controlled RC car. Neat… then it got to the 1:35 point… OK, this gets interesting… and it just gets cooler and cooler from there.

It’s a Vodafone ad, I’m guessing from the UK. Doubt they actually controlled the McLaren F1 car via the Blackberry, more than likely some special effects going on there…but I have no doubt the Blackberry controlled the RC McLaren.

Awesome! :D

Wicked, cool! I can’t believe they allowed a multi-million dollar piece of equipment to be put under “remote” control.

No Freakin WAY!

Awesome! One the best vids in recent time.

Shoulda used an iPhone, but the driver was right on.

Holy f…ing crap. That is the coolest thing I have ever seen.

Be sure to turn up your speakers for this one!

it’s funny that the ads on the side of this page are for RC cars. context sensitive ads are getting smarter.

What if that car had driven out of range? I didn’t think bluetooth could reach that far.

F1 Drones.

Regardless, it’s a damn good video!
