Earlier this year the BMW Group embarked on a year long celebration of the BMW brand’s hundredth year in existence. To celebrate the occasion they produced a stunning and thought provoking concept (awkwardly dubbed) the BMW Vision Next 100. The concept is meant to be a glimpse into the brand’s future products and strategy around technology and performance.
Now it’s MINI’s turn. Next week the brand will unveil the (equally awkwardly named) MINI Vision Next 100. According to MINI the concept will explore the future of personalization and what the next one hundred years of urban mobility might look like. Those who are familiar with the concept have told us it will be less ambitious than the BMW concept (which focused on autonomy and a full electric drivetrain) but will still wow the public when it’s released.
Look for the concept to get it’s digital release next week (which you can see the second it drops on MF). That will be quickly followed by a public release at BMW Group Future Experience Exhibition at the Roundhouse, London from the 18-26 June.
What would you want to see MINI explore with this concept? Perhaps more importantly, what do you want to see as MINI’s vision of the future?

I would like to see a JCW Rocketman with CarPlay.

an electric mini would be nice, or a whole family!

JCW Rocketman – and Frank Stephenson to lead design!

Yes please.
