Is there a reason for the massive delay in the new gen Countryman reveal? It’s 2 months behind the usual cycle. Is it a deliberate thing from MiNI as not to eat into existing car sales this summer? It must be a really hot new piece of work.

Yes we wrote about that this summer. There was a production shortage in the contract that BMW had with Magna. To rectify MINI had to increase production of the current R60 Countryman to fulfill that contract. That pushed things back a bit for the F60 reveal given that MINI doesn’t want people to wait.
