MINI USA Sales Are Up for the First Time In Over a Year
MINI USA sales are up. That’s not something we’ve written on this site since June 2018 (referring to May sales). That’s 15 months straight of declines for MINI USA that have been snapped. What happened? The big reason is the Countryman which saw sales up 25% for the month. In total that helped MINI USA sell 3,911 vehicles sold, an increase of 1 percent from the 3,800 in the same month a year ago.
MINI Pre-Owned vehicles was a bit of a mixed back. MINI Certified Pre-Owned sold 1,282 vehicles, a decrease of 6.4 percent from August 2018 while the total pre-owned saw an increase of 0.7 percent for a total of 2,975.

Interesting because Bimmerfile 24 hours later reported 1.0%, but the individual sales totals of MINIs sold still amounts to 3,911 despite the overall total being shown as 3,838.

12,000 X7’s ytd vs 24,000 total Mini’s, why even bother with Mini when 1 SUV does more dollar volume than all of Mini.

Us customers are lucky that Mini still sells the Hatch.

The increase in MINI USA sales for August 2019 is 2.9%, not 1.0% as stated in the article.

Total MINI sales amount to 3,911 which to be precise is 2.92% greater than the total MINI sales of 3,800 for August 2018.

It’s been changed. MINIUSA released the wrong figures initially.

Interesting because Bimmerfile 24 hours later reported 1.0%, but the individual sales totals of MINIs sold still amounts to 3,911 despite the overall total being shown as 3,838.

Those are MINI’s figures.
