MINI will be taking the wraps off of it’s new design direction with the MINI Aceman concept on July 27th. Closely tied to it’s forthcoming, all-new electric MINI hatch, the Aceman is intended to show off many of the new and even futuristic features of the next generation MINIs. What can we learn from this concept? Turns out a lot.
The Aceman will be a small crossover that will debut in 2024 as a 2025 model. This concept will be a lightly disguised version intended to tease the ultra-minimal interior and fully personalized lighting (inside and out) we’ll see on all forthcoming MINIs. It’s also going to show-off MINIs new desire to go smaller with both the new electric hatch an the production Aceman. There’s only one problem if you’re in the US – it’s not coming here.
Due to the realities of the US market wanting larger crossovers, the smaller Aceman doesn’t fit well within the line-up here. However there’s still a lot to learn from what we’ll see.
Look for the full release this Wednesday July 27th.
