The Next Generation MINI Cooper Electric & MINI Countryman Electric Official Debut Annoucned

MINI has formally announced it will debut the all new MINI Cooper electric (J01) and MINI Countryman electric (U25) at the 2023 IAA Mobility Show in Munich. The highly anticipated debut will be out first official look at both cars in their entirety and will usher the most important new models for the brand since 2001 and perhaps since 1959.
The debuts will happen simultaneously at a pre-show event and right here on MotoringFile next Friday September 1st. Look for exact timing of the debut next week as we prepare our typical in-depth look at the cars and our first hands-on review as well.
Both the new MINI Cooper electric and new MINI Countryman electric will both be on show for the full public from 5 – 10 September. The IAA Mobility Summit at the exhibition centre and the BMW Group’s Open Space at Max-Joseph-Platz in the heart of Munich will be the main arenas where BMW, MINI and BMW Motorrad present their new products. Among the models visitors can acquaint themselves with here alongside the BMW Vision Neue Klasse is the fully electric BMW i5. And they can also experience the world premieres of the new fully electric BMW CE 02 eParkourer as well.

Will we find out then if the MINI Cooper SE will be sold in the US next year? Seems like MINI USA should be making a final decision soon.
