Missed AMVIV? Still chomping at the bit for another event after MINIs on the Dragon? If you can wait until June 21st, there is also the 5th annual running of MINIs on Top!.
>The first year, we had 70 MINIs attend – most MINI owners knew each other only through the online forums before the gathering, on the longest day June 21st 2003. In 2004, we began raising money for charities, and last year in 2006 we had more than 250 MINIs attending from as far away as Florida, and raised more than $16,000 for Make-A-Wish!
There is the now infamous Boot Sale, dinner with other MINI owners and, the best part, the drive to the top of Mt. Washington to watch the sunset. Plus there will be a raffle, one of the items being a 2 year lease of a 2007 MINI Cooper!

Can’t make MOT, but the family and I will be taking a MINI vacation in Washington DC area and we plan to hook up with the <a href="http://thegreaticecreamrun.com/" rel="nofollow">Great Ice Cream Run</a> a few days earlier..
This is such a great event! I encourage everyone able to go to attend. This year the weekend is one too early for me to make it… but next year I’ll be back! I wish everyone a good time, safe motoring, and lots of fun!
One small correction … in 2003 MINIsOnTop happened on June 21st, but with the calendar sliding backwards this years event will be on Saturday June 16th
The Chicago <em>MOTly</em> Crew will be making it’s second trip to MINIs on Top again this year! We had a great time in 2006 and I know we will again this year 🙂
I will be coming home from the desert just in time to attend my second MOT. If you enjoy motoring you will enjoy MOT. New Hampshire has some of the best roads this side of The Dragon, and the road to the top of MT Washington is off the hook. Plus, how can you go wrong with that many MINIs and MINI people in one place?
Amanda and I (both MINI Owners) got engaged last year at MOT2006. We’re looking forward to attending this event and every year there is an MOT from now on. We’ve even included MOT2007 as part of our honeymoon travels.
I did my first MOT last year, will return in June. Worth the drive.
