Another Guiness Record Attempt

The record for the longest line of MINIs has been set by a group in the UK. You read about it. You talked about it. You said you’ve done longer, don’t lie.

But, as we all know, records are meant to be broken. To that end, a few of the clubs on the east coast are going to try to do just that.

Could you please put on the forum at some point that we’re attempting the Guiness Book of World Records for the longest train of MINIs on June 10th in Virginia Beach?

I believe the current record is 267. They are looking for 300!

Surely the lines of MINIs wrapped around Indianapolis Motor Speedway during the Indy stop of MINI Takes the States last summer beat this mark?

Guiness states that the line must travel for two miles non stop with no more then (i think) one to two car langths inbetween each car.

I will be on that side of the country that weekend (heading to DC from Chicagoland), but it is just a little to far out of the way for us to head down there on that day..

I agree with Ken. SHOULD BE A DRAGON EVENT. Surely can get more than 300 MINI’s there and really break the record.
