Very cool. Much quieter inside than I would have imagined. In the 2nd video it looks like they used the new ‘Ring before starting the Green Hell…is that correct?

A la F1, it seems using all of the rumble strips anymore is just the accepted practice – no matter how much it upsets the car.

This looks like so much fun. I hope we have this series in North America soon, maybe just a Canadian series. Even better how about a MINI Clubman Diesel Canadian Touring- car Series (MCDCTS). If VW can do it why can’t MINI?

holy cow.. on the ring I could swaer the speedo was over 140mph for a good bit of the beginning. (yea I knowit’s in km but it’s still the same place as 140mph)

is it just me or do these things sound good. i like that deep tone from the engine . i hope the factory jcw sounds as good . i want one . i want a ring in the usa too. so we can all floor it.

@adam E you’re right! during the 24h race on the ring all support races are using the grandprix circuit too. the laptime for this variation of track during the MINI qualifying was just under 10 minutes. ask gabe, he knows that is quick – very quick!
