Thats NEMO!! The owner is in the Houston MINI club, HMMS. I have seen the setup first hand and it is a clean install. Bluetooth mouse and keyboard, and a touch screen, it is sooo sweet! The screen flips out to reveal the air and radio controls.

That would be some of our filtering software at work. If it wasn’t here, the comment section would be overrun with unpleasant things – I can assure you!

We’ve actually kept that out for a reason up until now. Sp@m is a huge problem that we’ve managed to keep out of view of the normal visitor. However it’s only due to specific measures that the site isn’t totally overrun by it.

Anyway we’re in the process of creating a totally new MotoringFile in the next couple of weeks. This will have more spam measures that might allow us to make it more obvious how to add hyperlinks. Hope that makes sense!

Thats me!!! How cool is this to find my car “Nemo” on Motoringfile.com.

It’s a work in progress as a better “front-end” is being developed by some programmers over at mp3car.com. The front end software will make the Mac Mini easier to use with the touch screen.
To still a phrase ” I’m Lov’n it!” It’s so much fun for a gadget freak like me. It gives me something to work on (like importing more music and album covers) ever night. My wife would just like for me to stay inside the house when I get home and not go out to set in the car.

Thanks,

(Hi to everyone in the Houston MINI Motoring Society!)

I just happened to be reading an article in Popular Science, http://www.popsci.com/popsci/how2/article/0,20967,1057162,00.html and it had an article on modifying Mac Minis, so I wondered if anyone has tried to ‘add’ a Mac Mini to a MINI, so I searched Google and found someone who was. Pretty neat, it was.

Looks cool! And fitting I guess.

Gabe you might want to take out the “Fine Print” box that shows people how to insert hyperlinks then. :)

(Hi to everyone in the Houston MINI Motoring Society!)

Keep us up to date on the project Mike! We’re all big Mac users here at MotoringFile so we’re quite excited to see it progress.

I often wonder why MINI hasn’t included it as an optional accessory…
