We do our best to make MotoringFile your window into the MINI world. In doing so we typically like to keep world news out of our general scope. However, I think the recent events in the southern US warrant a mention. If you’d like to help victims of Hurricane Katrina please follow the link below:

Worth while posting Gabe. Nice.

For those in Southern California, today ABC7 is putting on a hurricane relief drive at Dodgers Stadium and the Arrowhead Pond.

MINI owners are organizing to participate tonight. More details HERE

Thanks Gabe.
It’s hard to be excited about much at all with the terrible news and pictures from the South. We all will need to pitch in soon.

Thanks for the post Gabe. I couldn’t imagine any more important post for the day. I think all of our thoughts are with all of the victims as they begin an unimaginable road to recovery from this.

Being a Louisiana native and a resident of New Orleans prior to moving to Chicago I applaud you for this posting.

Thanks for this Gabe, as a survior of Ivan, I know a little bit of what these people are going through. Good luck to them!

As a Louisiana native and a Mini owner I have been using my Mini to deliver supplies to the local shelter. You should of seen the looks when I fit 10 deflated air beds, 10 blankets, 20 pillows, a bag of toys, and myself all into my MCS. Little cars can help too!
