Welcome to our 4th annual MotoringFile MINI Gift Guide. The guide is broken up into five sections and is laid out in a wider format for more room for photos and product information. As in years past, we’ve choosen a wide array of popular gift ideas as well as some relatively obscure ones with prices ranging from free to thousands of dollars.
You can browse each section by clicking the links above. And you’ll find the same top navigation in each of the sections. And for a larger view of each gift idea, just click the image and stand back.
Happy Holidays from all of us at MotoringFile.
Thanks for putting this together again this year.
I think the photo you chose for the article above would make an excellent holiday card with some different text on it…”Season’s Greetings” or something like that…
This is an awesome gift guide. Especially good for first-time, soon-to-be MINI owners who are unfamiliar with the MINI aftermarket (i.e. me). One question, is there any difference (besides price & brand) between the Helix and Craven antennas?
Nicely done, yet again!
Gimme Gimme Gimme!
Toys toys toys everywhere
man, those Adidas shoes are niiiiiice. I see a pair being shipped my way shortly…
I was wondering where this years list was – I love it 🙂
BTW: A quick browse suggests many items are R50/53 only? It might be helpful to newer owners to have a link to R56 compatible items.
Also:
Many thanks for including my auto-up windows circuit again – I just want to warn people that it soon won’t exist. I only get a couple of orders a week now and it’s therefore not justified for me to make another batch. I have about 20-30 pieces remaining.
Since I believe there is still a competitor on the market (albeit more expensive), I don’t feel that I’m hurting the MINI community by stopping production.
Thanks too, to everyone that bought a circuit and said such nice things about it / me / etc 🙂 🙂
What is that headliner font used?

I’m really not sure to be honest.

We specified what cars each product were meant for at the end of each description. I wanted it to be more first generation oriented since that’s predominantly what MF readers own at this point.
Hey Ian, love your auto up, just wished I was closer so I could offer my future R56 for testing.
Thanks, Gabe!
For folks overseas, it would be a real boon to have the OEM part numbers. Would that be possible?
Awesome, guys! Thanks for posting.
I’m sending link to everybody I know.
No word on the font?
Really, Morristown has specials on the Aero Kit for $495?
Thx, Gabe! for the Guide. I just ordered the JCW suspension delivered to my place in CA for $694.30 at that price I had to get it. $300 cheaper than from where I’m from. I will now have a factory JCW that is compete.
Oh forgot, I ordered it at Morristown.
Does that include the springs as well?

Yes, the whole suspension package. Its an internet special. Ingeneal their prices are lower on all parts.
Gabe,
Check the price in your Guide for the M7 Strut Tower Plates. They’re $109 in your Guide; and $129 at M-7’s website that you link to.
Oh, I almost forgot….
I purchased a set of the faux CF rear bumper inserts from Minspeed. Thanks to you, and Pete…AND, they’re now $50 for the pair, not the $100 quoted in the Guide.
Skip,
Any idea what the install cost will be on the JCW Suspension?

TomB, I was told it will be $540.00. I am in SF bay area were laobor rates at Mini dealers can be as high as $190 an hour. This is of course an independent BMW/MINI repair shop
Thanks to the MF gift guide, I’ll have a Helix short shift kit under the tree this year…
