Interesting, so no Loews hotel in Miami Beach for the Friday night meet and greet party?
It figures that one wasn’t going to work. Parking in South Beach is simply aweful!
Bi-centennial park is quite honestly a weird venue (This park is poorly maintained by the city)to have this type of gathering but it is more central and it is right in downtown.
At least it is 3 miles away from my house.
“Rise and Shine” at 10am? Geez, then there’s gonna be traffic! 😉
Just bring your farmer tan, and watch the area your driving in… it can get shady very quick. I thought they could have done this near boca raton or somewhere nice. That park is not that best. I would have stayed at the track in Homestead.
Well, let’s not get that overly dramatic, shall we? 😉
Yes, there are many areas in downtown that I don’t even dare crossing during the daytime, but I think the caravan will stick on an US1 route (Biscayne Blvd) and as long as you do that, you should be fine.
Brickell avenue is a nice drive going through a nice section of Downtown and from there is should be fairly pleasant.
I hope that instead of taking US1 all the way down to Homestead, the caravan’s route go take South Miami avenue, go through Coconut Grove and then onto Old Cutler road for a nice and twisty (For Miami standards) drive through very classy neighborhoods.
Main Highway/Old Cutler would definitely be a nice “locals” ride…Although things would get interesting at Cocoplum circle 😉
Haha, Cocoplum should prove to be a challenge indeed. Hopefully, Coral Gables’finest won’t be in full force around the area.
Well I think we should rent out Viscaya, like the barcardi party! What could be better?
Vizcaya would have been a very nice photo op!
