And you can tell no suspension upgrade either. Spotted some rather huge leans during the video. Soft and anything but flat, this is exactly what a sports car should be 😉
Now I am really thinking about getting the JCW Mini–as soon as my job status is confirmed in next few weeks. But I have to go with the Aero Kit over the suspension kit. It just completes the look and yes I realize I am going for looks.
Well it definitely isn’t quite what it could be but the exhaust under WOT sounds fabulous – rich and resonant. They nailed that part, it seems! As an overall package it still speaks “VW GTI” to me more than it speaks “JCW MINI”.
What I would love to see is how many people would spend 40k for a Mini if it were developed to be a class leading complete car. Maybe I am one of the few, but if I ever saw a Mini that was developed to the extent that the M division develops their car I would buy it on the spot. I have a lot of fun with after market components but would love to see a monster come from Mini. With the current gas trends I could honestly see this being a better selling product than the next M5.
This MINI puzzles me. If its supposedly the ultimate “steet” MINI how can there be an optional suspension. If profit is the motive, just raise the price to incl. the suspension package.
Lets be realistic–this is an expensive MINI. I doubt anyone buying this ultimate MINI will care they are paying a bit more to get a proper suspension.
MINI(jcw)–if you want to make a STATEMENT, make one wholeheartedly. The option list should be for items you want for aestheicts. comfort, convenience, NOT to ceomplete the advertised perfomeance envelope.
I want one.
No aero kit. Finally some truth in advertising…
What, no porn music?

It took me a minute to realize no aereola kit. It really doesn’t do that much for the car. Drop the cash on a proper suspension IMO.

What’s with the funny decal on the dash?
Did anybody notice the exhaust tips are now angled at the ends (like previous jcw tips)?
burble
(though this is an Euro-spec MINI — despite the lack of bodykit — it’ll be worth getting the JCW in US for the burble alone)
It is interesting that bodykit will be standard in UK but apparently not in other European markets
Ketan. If “looks” are your thing (and that’s cool) and not performance just get an S. This much power without proper suspension is crazy.
