Todd and Gabe with news of the week from Motoringfile.com. Yes, you read that correctly. I wasn’t able to record this week so Gabe was nice enough to help out. Thanks! As you can imagine, they spend of good portion of the night talking about the new JCW MINI.
Sorry for the delay in getting this one posted. Everything is sorted out and there shouldn’t be any more delays.
Don’t forget, coming up later today is Robert’s latest Soundseeing Tour and, later in the week, our continuing MTTS coverage.

Gabe, welcome back!
Good to hear from you again Gabe, hope everything is going well for you.
My bet on the roof and mirror color for the electric Mini will be green, a natural color choice for a “green” car. For the Fiat talks this post makes me nervous.

A larger Mini in 2015, if this is true after the questionable development of the R60 it make me think that BMW has more or less turned it back on all principles with the Mini brand. Sure hope that story is wrong!I already dread what is likely to the bigger and heavier Mini that will be developed for 2012.
You guys haven’t driven it yet? I drove it yesterday at New Country mini in CT, it was very intense, very fast, lots of torque, and yes you easily cruise at 80.
And I love the way the exhaust sounds.
Unfortunately the shift knob doesn’t glow, but that was my only real detraction.
As a fellow GP owner really looking to hearing more from Todd in Chicago and Gabe since he has the dealer kit to get there feedback on the car also (actually more insight I guess I should say from Todd).
